1965 – James Conway

Watching the Clinton Comets back when the goalie, Norm Defelice, played without a face mask. Watching him bend down low trying to see through the screens when the opposing team was on a power play. Sometimes the shot would go right over his shoulder and he would never see it. Talk about bravery. Looked him up online, and saw he played pro for 20 years—a tough guy for sure.
